Police Investigate Shooting in Milton

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a shooting that took place in Milton on Monday morning.
The HRPS was contacted by Guelph Police in the early morning hours of October 28, 2024, after two males attended a hospital in Guelph. One of the males was treated and released for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound apparently suffered in Halton region. The other was not injured.
The HRPS Major Crime Bureau is now investigating and both males have been arrested.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking to identify the owners of multiple stolen bikes and electric scooters recovered by police during the recent execution of a search warrant.

Update to Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision in Milton from the 20th of September 2024:
Investigators from the Collision Reconstruction Unit have charged the 35 year old driver of the GMC Sierra, Andrew COUTO of Milton, with Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance – Causing Death contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Milton at a later date.
