Oakville Man Arrested for Child Luring

In early October 2024 the Halton Regional Police Service Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit commenced an investigation into an incident of child luring that began in September of this year.
As a result of this investigation, on October 18, 2024, Patrick McCash (21) of Oakville, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Luring a child
- Sexual assault (2 Counts)
- Sexual interference (2 Counts)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in an arson investigation in Burlington.
On Friday October 11, 2024, at approximately 6:00 am police were called to a fire at a townhouse complex located near Appleby Line and Taywood Avenue in Burlington. This complex is in the final phases of construction and consists of a mix of occupied and unoccupied homes.

On August 18 2024, at 7:25 pm a male suspect attended a vehicle that was parked in a residential driveway in the area of Louis St Laurent Avenue and Thompson Road in Milton. The suspect broke a window to gain access to the vehicle interior where the suspect removed property belonging to the vehicle owner.
