With the anticipated arrival of inclement weather, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has added a new time saving feature to supplement the services currently offered at Collision Reporting Centres in Halton.
The HRPS has partnered with our collision reporting partner, Accident Support Services International, to introduce a new service called ‘Start from Your Device’. This can be used for the majority of property damage collisions where a report is needed.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a distraction style theft of jewelry in Oakville.
On November 5, 2024, at approximately 2:30 pm an elderly female was walking in the area of Lakeshore Road and Nelson Street when approached by a lone female suspect.

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a suspect entered the LCBO at 830 Main Street East, Milton. He selected three bottles of alcohol, worth a total value of $219.85, before exiting the store without paying.
Suspect: Male, 5’ 8”, 170 lbs with an athletic build, 30 – 40 years-old, beard, wearing a white t-shirt, beige shorts, white baseball cap, grey running shoes, white socks, with a blue-string bag on his back.

On August 1, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a suspect entered the Lululemon at 291 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. She selected 35 pair of leggings, with a total value of $4,830.00, before exiting the store without paying.
Suspect: Female, white, 30 – 40 years-old, dark hair, short/squat build, wearing a maroon scarf, and billowing, black dress used to conceal property.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a female entered the LCBO located at 251 Oak Walk Drive, Oakville. She selected four bottles of Grey Goose vodka, worth a total value of $207.80, which she concealed in her purse. She then left the store, making no attempt to pay.
