On January 14, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., two male suspects entered the Sunglass Hut located in Mapleview Mall, Burlington. The males proceeded to try on multiple pairs of sunglasses, concealing $1,500 worth of merchandise before leaving the store, making no attempt to pay.

On July 13, 2024, a male suspect attended the Home Hardware store at 5111 New Street in Burlington. The male selected numerous items, valued over $1,000, and placing them in a green, plastic bag. The male then left the store making no attempt to pay for the items.
Upon exiting the store, a store employee confronted the male and was able to recover the stolen items. The male then made threats of violence before fleeing.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has launched a new initiative to help combat auto thefts in the Town of Oakville.
Aftermarket GPS trackers contribute to the recovery of approximately 40% of stolen vehicles in Oakville, and police hope their broader use will reduce auto thefts and lead to even more recoveries. On April 19, 2024, at 5:00 pm, a male suspect entered into Polo Ralph Lauren at 13850 Steeles Avenue, Halton Hills.
The suspect selected multiple Polo shirts, with a total value of $534, and concealed them in an in-store tote bag. He then exited past all points of purchase, making no attempt to pay.

On June 16, 2024, a male suspect attended the Canadian Tire store located at 1210 Steeles Avenue East, Milton.
The suspect stole an air conditioner valued at $420. The suspect left the area in a blue/black BMW X4.
