The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested three suspects and laid multiple charges after a pair of robberies for mobile devices in Milton and Oakville.
On April 5, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. four males dressed in black and wearing masks entered the Bell store located at 1099 Maple Avenue in Milton. Two adult male employees were confronted and demands were made for cellular phones. Multiple cellular phones were obtained and the suspects fled in a grey Honda CRV.
On April 7, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. HRPS officers observed a grey Honda CRV parked in front of the Rogers Store located at 1500 Upper Middle Road in Oakville. Three occupants of the vehicle were observed dressed in black and wearing masks. Officers quickly intervened to block the vehicles escape and arrest the three occupants prior to entering the Rogers Store.
Investigation found the Honda CRV to be stolen out of Toronto.
As a result of the investigation a 15 year old male resident of Toronto is facing the following charges for his involvement in each robbery.
Bell Store robbery:
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent
Rogers Store robbery (attempt):
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of an Automobile Master Key
- Possession of Break in Instruments
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
For their involvement in the Rogers Store robbery (attempt) the remaining two suspects have been charged with the following:
Shaquane Grant (28) of Toronto:
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of an Automobile Master Key
- Possession of Break in Instruments
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
Nathan Richards-Dick (19) of Toronto:
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of an Automobile Master Key
- Possession of Break in Instruments
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Drive while Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
All three accuseds were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
