The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid multiple charges in response to 6 separate break and enter incidents occurring at commercial businesses in Oakville.

During the overnight hours, between the days of July 7 and July 9 2024, HRPS responded to 6 businesses in Oakville including Hudson’s Bay Company, Freshway Market and Tommy Hilfiger, where a single suspect gained entry to the businesses by breaking glass or forcing open exterior doors. Property taken from the various locations included clothing, grocery items and cash. As the suspect fled from his entry to Hudson’s Bay the suspect drove his vehicle in an aggressive manner nearly striking a security guard that was attempting to intervene.
