The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is searching for four suspects after a home invasion and attempted vehicle theft in Oakville.
On March 29, 2025, at approximately 5:25 a.m. four suspects forced entry through the rear patio door of a residence in the area of Meadowridge Drive and Dundas Street East. Two suspects confronted the adult male and adult female residents demanding the keys to their vehicles. During a brief confrontation one suspect struck the male resident in the face with an unknown object and all four suspects fled the residence. The suspects stole a handbag from inside the residence, however the vehicle keys and vehicles were not taken.
The male resident sustained a minor physical injury as a result of the altercation.
All four suspects are described as male, wearing dark coloured clothing and face masks.
One suspect was observed holding a handgun.
The HRPS is attempting to identify the suspects and potential suspect vehicle and is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Meadowridge Drive and Craigleith Road between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
