The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a voyeurism occurrence that took place at the Bronte GO Station in Oakville.

On Thursday August 1, 2024, an adult female was standing on platform number 3 at the Bronte GO station waiting to board the 4:26 pm train eastbound to Toronto’s Union Station.

A male suspect was observed standing near the female with his phone positioned under her dress. This was observed by multiple witnesses who were seated on the second level of the arriving train.

The witnesses let the female know what took place once she boarded the train and the male suspect was confronted once he was seated on the train. This confrontation took place on coach 2710. The suspect only spoke in Spanish to the female when confronted and refused to open the photos app on his phone. The suspect then fled to another coach and disembarked at an unknown station between Bronte and Union.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 40 years old and 5’6” tall. He has black hair and an olive complexion. He spoke in Spanish and was wearing a grey hat and carrying a black laptop bag.

Police have spoken to witnesses however are hoping someone may have taken a picture or video of the suspect at some point when he was confronted on the busy train.
