The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for the robbery of a jewellery store in Burlington Mall.

On October 12, 2023, at approximately 5:20 pm, the suspect entered Griffin Jewellery Designs in  Burlington Mall and asked to look at some rings. While in possession of an expensive engagement ring, the suspect told the employee that there were people outside of the store with guns. The suspect then departed the store with the ring, estimated at $40,000.

The male suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, and over 6 feet tall with a fit build. He was clean shaven with dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He was wearing black shoes, black Adidas pants, a black jacket, black t-shirt, dark tinted aviator-style sunglasses, and had multiple light-coloured scars on both hands.
