The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a robbery at a jewelry store located in the Burlington Centre Mall.
On January 27, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm three male suspects entered Arain Jewelry just as an employee was closing the store for the evening. One of the suspects pushed the employee to the back of the store and the suspects began to smash glass displays with a hammer and steal the jewelry inside.
The suspects were in the store for a brief period before fleeing the mall via the north exit which faces Fairview Street. The suspects were all dressed in black and seen entering a blue Honda CRV and leaving in an unknown direction. Police have since confirmed this vehicle to be stolen.
No firearms were seen and the only weapon used was a hammer. There were no physical injuries reported to police.
Investigators are working to obtain additional descriptions of the suspects and further updates will be forthcoming.
