The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid multiple charges after a vehicle was stolen in Oakville.
On November 29, 2024 at 10:00 p.m. HRPS officers responded to a home in the area of Neyagawa Blvd and Ashdown Road, after a Mercedes SUV was stolen from the residence driveway.
Two suspects were observed in the stolen vehicle which fled prior to police arrival. The suspects did not enter the home.
The 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau took carriage of the investigation and began efforts to locate the stolen vehicle. Utilizing a variety of investigative techniques, at approximately 11:25 p.m. investigators located the stolen vehicle in Toronto.
As a result of the investigation, Sean Paszkowski-Brown (38) of Toronto has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
Paszkowski-Brown was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A second suspect remains outstanding and is described as: Male, wearing all black clothing and a black mask.
